The one place I would love to go to is Colombia College Chicago, an art school. This art school isnt ordinary however. It dosen't only teach art but programing, film making, and fashion, and animation. I have seen the college before, and it was absolutley beutiful. The few from the dorm rooms is amazing and the dorms I have gone to are very big for dorms. The one I went to consisted of four people. Two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. The window in the living room, as I said before had a spectaculor view of the city. The college is not all one building however, it consists of four buildings. You can ride a tram every day to get from building to building, supplied by the school. The school has a grafiti room where you can spray paint art as much as you want, the goal of this was to lower vandalism and has worked very well, because within my visit I hadn't seen a single tag of any kind. Another thing I strongly like, is the fact that the school is an Apple-oriented school. I personally perfer macs over pc's any day.
The teachers there like to praise students for their work. Every year they have an open festival to the public showing off the students art work. These aren't just galleries but include performances, films, and demos of anything they made so far that year. The school seems to be perfect for people like me who really like feedback on their art work.
It would be an amazing experience to be able to go to school here. The school appeals to me just by its beauty, not specifically its physical beauty but its programs, the faculties, the people, the dorms, the experiences I could share. This school may look like any average school to you but to me its a chance at something amazing. Some people would want to go to Paris, or Florida but I personally want to go to Colombia College Chicago.
